Cisco vpn client minimized to taskbar and stays in status: disconnect

I hope you can help me because I feel like I'm so close now. When I click on repair I receive the message: Can somebody pls let me know how can resolve that issue. I am using windows XP. Had the same problem as Ashlie - went away when I disabled my wireless connection and installed a direct ethernet cable to my router. I found out that by bridging the vpn with my hardware network adapter and then unbridging it, I was then able to do the repair on the vpn adaptor, and the connection now works again.

Thank you for sharing the solution to enable Virtual Adapter. After that i pressed ok. I thought it will eventually work when I disable and enable the network adaptor. Thanks for sharing this tips. Thanks for the tips!

I fixed in Win7 by: I was then able to connect without this error again. I'm using 64 bit driver and Windows 7. I had the same issue but it was resolved by disabling sharing. Performed the exact steps and it solved the problem. I tried this and it did not work for me. When you get this message with Windows 7 64bit.. Follow the steps in this to reset and reconnect. This has happened to me two vpn times. Thank you very much! Apparently Citrix acquired Deterministic Networks some time ago, so the fixes are available on their site.

For most people using vpn it's not their choice, they have to follow the instructions from the owners of the servers they connect to.

I've got like 5 different vpn clients installed on my machine, each of them provided by a customer. This is not unsupported software. With , not even the CVirtA registry setting has been spared. Rolling back is not possible for Windows 10 Home users since Microsoft is making updates mandatory.

Unfortunately, that client doesn't seem to find the proper topology from the ASA it's connecting to. Tell us about your experience with our site.
